Dear Sisters and Brothers:

This year will mark the 42st anniversary of our annual Labor Day Parade & Picnic celebration. Regretfully, due to the COVID pandemic, we are unable to march the streets hand in hand with our union brothers and sisters, community, friends, and supporters. During these unprecedented times, many union families have been economically effected and need our help. To keep in the tradition of the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Labor Coalition we plan to celebrate by giving to those in need.

On Labor Day, Monday, September 6, 2021, 9 am to 12 pm, we will host our very first “Labor of Love” food distribution event to help feed those who are in need. Our goal will be to distribute food to 3,500 families. If you or someone you know are struggling to provide food for your family, we can help!

Please join us this Labor Day at the Labor of Love food distribution event!

The Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Labor Coalition is a multi union coalition whose mission is to promote positive solidarity and union activism.

39th annual Labor Solidarity Parade

This Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2019, we will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of our Labor Day Parade. We celebrate the contribution of many that have made our yearly Parade possible throughout the years, and those of our Union Sisters and Brothers that have passed on. It is with great pride that we look back on labor’s victories and struggles for living wages, single-payer healthcare, pensions, and work place safety.
